HOLIDAY

This was the master chef programme in my holidays.

The first week of the holidays my sister and I went to a master chief programme. 4 days, 8 recipes a lunch and a desert each day. On Monday, the first day, the organisers explained to us the health and safety rules and the procedure. Then it was on to work. We started of making ambrosia, a sweet treat of yogurt, cream marshmallows and fruit. That all went well, Aimee and I being the quickest at whipping the cream.

But then there was the bacon and egg pie to make. Unfortunately there wasn't enough resources for my group to make it so we had share with the others. Thankfully there was plenty for everyone. I was disgusted by the fact that one of the people who made it ate four big pieces of it.

Tuesday

Tuesday was great. We started off making bread and butter pudding. That was easy enough but looked disgusting before being cooked. By at the end of cooking it we decided to savour food for home. After half an hour Aimee had to go to a party so I was left alone to make the shish kebabs. I managed to make it with the ingredients of capsicum, tomato, onion and meat. after a unfilled afternoon we ended up not eating them.

Wednesday

Today was ANZAC biscuits and winter hamburgers. My group this time instead of making the dessert we made the winter hamburgers. they were very good after the long time it took to make them. YUM. By the time we were set to make the ANZAC biscuits there wasn't enough for the batches my group would make.

After waiting along time for the ingredients we decided to make a half batch just to get one or two each.

Friday

I missed out Thursday because it was ANZAC day. Anyway, on Friday we had to make, firstly quesadillas. These are tortillas filled with beans, ginger and butter. They turned out dry and burnt.

Then we made self saucing chocolate pudding. For most this would be a real treat but unfortunately with the chocolate factor this was not for me.

Over all, the master chef programme turned out great.
